There are various different stove models and options depending on the size of boat and personal preference. All models come in stainless steel as standard but have the option of coming in copper or brass for an additional cost. We also offer bulkhead mounted and cold furnace stoves (hot water heating only), more details on these can be found in our brochure. The numbers depict the stove model and the letters depict what extras, if any, the stove has. Please see the key below that explains these;
The 2000KT is our most popular stove model. It has a maximum heat output of up to 4.2KW, making it a great size for traditional size narrowboats and the closest replacement for a woodburner/multi fuel.
This model comes as standard with a viewing window, hot plate and fiddle rail.
The 2000KVT comes fitted with a stainless steel back boiler for heating water and/or radiators.
The 62M as standard has a maximum output of up to 2.4KW.
The 2062MK has a hot plate, viewing window and fiddle rail included. Due to having the hot plate, this model is rated to a higher maximum output of up to 3.5KW.
The 62MS/62MSK is the same as the above but features a copper heating coil for heating water/radiators. If having copper coil you are unable to have a viewing window.
The 66M is the smallest stove we offer. It has a maximum heat output of up to 1.6KW. Great for smaller spaces, the 66M can have the flue coming straight out of the top if not having the hot plate.
Similar to the 62M, this can come with or without viewing window, hot plate, fiddle rail and copper heating coil depending on preference.
As well as being used for smaller boats, yachts and pilot houses, the 66 is suitable for caravans/campervan conversion too.
The 60M is one of the larger models we offer. This has a maximum heat output of up to 5.8KW and we find it to be most popular with widebeams/dutch barges.
As with the smaller models, this model has the option of coming with or without window, hot plate and fiddle rail.
The 60M does not have the copper coil option, as the 61MS is the copper heating coil version of this.
The 61MS is the water heating version of the 60MK, however it is slightly taller inside to allow sufficient space for the heating coil.
The output is the same so has a maximum output of up to 5.8KW.
Due to the size of this stove, you are still able to have a viewing window even though it has a copper coil, unlike with the smaller models.
The 67M is one of the largest stoves we offer. This has a maximum output of 8.15KW if used as a standalone space heater, or 7.25KW if used to heat water/radiators by either copper heating coil or stainless steel back boiler.
M = Marine stove
K = Hot plate
S = Copper Heating Coil

We understand that some people want the ease of running a stove on diesel, but with the look of a traditional multi-fuel stove. We have created Morso Squirrel Conversions so that you are able to have the best of both worlds.
We offer these as conversion kits to adapt your existing Morso Squirrel, or as a whole unit including complete new Morso Squirrel stove.
